Attorney Emily Assunta White leads the removal defense and immigration litigation practice and works side-by-side with an experienced team.
Veronica Dejoie has been an immigration paralegal for fourteen years and has expertise in family-based petitions, deportation, U visa, VAWA applications, waivers, immigrant visa processing, and naturalization applications. She speaks Spanish. Veronica has attended numerous professional trainings on various aspects on family immigration and deportation procedures, including tours of the National Visa Center, the Nebraska Service Center, and the US Consulate in Cuidad Juarez. In 2012, she was named Pro Bono Paralegal of the year by the Colorado Bar Association and continues to work on many of the firms pro bono cases.
Leslie Hernandez has been a legal assistant for three and half years and works closely with Emily in tracking and preparing for court hearings, as well handling all administrative components of the deportation defense. She is fluent in Spanish and also serves as a translator for client interviews.
