David J. Wagner | Attorney

David “Dave” Wagner focuses his practice on business immigration and represents clients in a wide-range of immigrant and non-immigrant visas, such as professionals, managers, executives, scientists, treaty investors/traders, and many other types of individuals.  Dave also provides assistance and guidance to families with their immigration needs.  Prior to joining Stern & Curray, Dave gained extensive experience with family-based immigration, investment immigration through the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, and removal defense.

Dave also previously worked in areas outside of immigration law, such as contract negotiation and disputes, federal litigation, business formation and other legal matters. Dave has successfully represented clients in many areas of immigration law from employment-based immigration to removal defense.

Before pursuing the law, Dave was a Spanish teacher who lived and taught in Central America and volunteered with non-profit organizations that provided legal services to low income individuals outside the City of Chicago. Dave enjoys the outdoors, whether it be hiking, skiing or fly-fishing and more importantly, he enjoys spending time with his family.
